Aerie Wines

The objective was to develop a brand and visual identity for Aerie Wines, a new winery creating seasonally associated sparkling wines. The project introduces the 2025 series of wine while building in flexibility to include future releases.

Aerie Wines is located on the Eyre Peninsula, founded by two friends who wanted to capture the clarity, vitality and joy found in the seasons.

At $30 to $40 per bottle, Aerie Wines aims at women in their 20s to 30s seeking something elegant and stylish, yet bright, vibrant and unfussy.

There is one wine associated with each season.

The geometric patterns and colour create a flexible visual identity which can be applied to future releases.  New circular patterns and colour palettes will be created for each new wine.

The logotype uses Narziss Drops in lower-case.  Light and elegant, some characters incorporate a decorative ‘drop’, providing a visual resemblance to bubbles in sparkling wine.

The secondary typeface, Mr Eaves, complements Narziss Drops with simple geometric shaped letters, lending a sense of strength and anchoring the light flowing letter forms above.

The wine may optionally be provided in a gift box, featuring the seasonal colour and bubble pattern specific to the variety.

The shape and design of the box creates a exciting unboxing experience, especially for those new to the brand or a variety.
